100% satisfaction, I love this job!

Last week I did Kerry and James’s wedding in St Francis Bay (Eastern Cape South Africa), when I took the shot below of Kerry hugging a guest I knew it was a moment perfectly captured!

Have a look at the “garter” shot too (Last in this series), always a difficult photo to get right because usually the room is way too small to get a proper perspective (even with a wide lens)  This time I had a room to work with for a change, the resulting image is one of the best garter shots I’ve seen! Looking at the enthusiasm at which the boys are trying to get that garter one would think it was a ticket to marry Angelina Jolie!

 I’ve just purchased a whole lot of gear that allows me to trigger flashes remotely, the natural light (or as someone said “sunlight”) on the 5 girls sitting on the hay-bales is not natural at all… it was a fully overcast day! I also used an off camera flash on the shot of Kerry and James on the beach which gives a nice rim light, this separates them from the background very nicely!
