I did some shots with Luella the other day, she’s professional, easy to get along with and not to mention stunning!

There was no specific concept other than to work with a few props, Luella is a young actress and has access to quite a few different items, she came through to my place with a bag full of stuff looking like it was destined for a second hand thrift store! We laid everything out and started a game plan, when shooting “off the cuff” the makeup determines where you start, first you do the shots that require light makeup and then you build on.

Among the items Lu had was a police hat which I took an almost instant disliking to because I did not like it’s shape or so I thought! When it came time to use it the initial shots were not great as I suspected, we tried it with a few different shirts till the brainwave of using one of my shirts hit me… yeah kinda obvious I know! The outcome was wow! If this is what the police looked like no one would bother obeying the law!

Among other props Lu had a straw hat and a guitar, can you believe the transformation? It’s amazing just how much the props make the difference! She looks like a hot country and western singer, move over Shania Twain.
