Duncan & Yvette – Aftershoot – Jakkalsfontein

If you have the budget for it I would highly suggest doing a wedding aftershoot, the major advantage of doing this not feeling pressured to get back to the reception, not worrying about a little spot on the dress and being able to shoot in the best possible light and locations with fantastic results!

Yvette and Duncan had decided on the aftershoot option which I was very happy about because I loved her dress! We went through to Jakkalsfontein about 60 Km’s out of Cape Town and opted to shoot late afternoon, just before sunset, there were a few clouds in the sky which I love and thankfully there was no wind!

Because we had worked together before we were all comfortable with each other making the photo process really easy! Yvette wore her dress and I’d told Duncan to wear a white shirt and black pants since it looks close enough to a suit. I’d told Yvette that if possible she should relax about pushing the dress, after all the resulting photos would be worth it 10 times over, they were!
