A good friend of mine runs a children’s party business (enchanted parties) One of Penny’s clients wanted to have a “photoshoot” party and I was asked to do it. The idea was simple, throw a bunch of props, a few 7 year olds and some studio lighting into the mix and get amazing photos.
I’ve never done anything like this and I have to say it was quite scary at times, children are not my area of expertise at all even though I have a gorgeous 7 year old little girl of my own!
I used two Nikon Speedlights with one “safely” placed behind the couch… safe indeed, it nearly got knocked for a loop! My advice fix it to the floor suspend it, tie a guard dog to it or it will never ever be safe!!
Assume there is a tidal wave moving through the room… a children’s party tidal wave!
