This shot was included in my Lange Township post a while ago but that was before I started “photo of the day”, now that I have I just had to include it in the collection. I just love it, the life within townships is totally different form the urban lifestyle many of us are used to, its a real eye opener, there are old traditional ways mixed with new ways not to mention sites and sounds that will stay with you forever.

In the shot the lady is cooking sheep’s heads, a popular African delicacy. I specifically pushed the colours through the roof for canvas prints, it looks amazing on a wall even if I say so myself
