As I walked into the St Simons and Jude catholic church for Claudia and Kevin’s wedding on Friday I noticed a “shaft” of light shining through the window on to the isle, I realised it would help to make a really great silhouette shot.
When I Claudia arrived she had on a huge veil, absolutely stunning for my Silhouette idea, it’s as though “wardrobe” had phoned ahead and told her what to wear!!!
The only problem is that I would have to do it as she was walking up the isle with her dad and then re-expose in time to get the shot of him giving her away at the top of the isle, since I shoot on manual it would be a huge challenge… the auto functions were not an option either since you need to compensate for all sorts of things (fine when you have the time)
I asked Claudia to take it slow up the isle… what was I thinking, the biggest day of her life and I was asking her to think of something else, I know better!! 
Of course she just about ran up the isle giving me a mere 6 seconds to get “back” to the correct exposure… luckily I’d been smart enough to do presets in my camera for exactly this, efficient but still very very scary!
In the end I got this shot… totally worth the stress!!!
