I had no intention of going “abstract” for any length of time until I ended up doing some interior photography for an upmarket guest house in Constantia yesterday. While shooting we went down to the wine cellar, there was this amazing hand carved wooden door, Bert (the owner) told me it came from India.
I loved the mixture of the yellow gold from the old brass lock mixed with the chipped green and turquoise colours of the door so I took a few shots, after juicing it up in Photoshop the end result is breathtaking!
I’m not quite sure what to do with it now other than “photo of the day” since I can’t see it really being used as a poster by hey it’s still pretty
