Millitary Wedding Tulbach Valley Morgansvlei

Any photographer relishes the opportunity to do something new and different! On Saturday I did Victoria and Jonathan’s wedding at Morgensvlei

Jonathan is a professional soldier with the Royal Scottish Regiment and he decided to get married in full dress uniform, sabre’s and all, oh and a few of the men from his regiment were there in full dress uniform too!! Awesome photo op!!!

I’m still working on the photos and they are fantastic what a cool wedding! When Jonathan and Vitoria exited the church as Mr & Mrs Kelmanson they had their own guard of honour, I’ll be putting the images up in the next few weeks.

Awesome shot Greg! (Not used to calling you that, but for uniformity’s sake) Such a simple but effective light source – especially with those incredible colours. Was this shot in a studio, or have you been Photoshopping your butt off? I’m sure the couple will be over the moon with their wedding shots (as I’m sure all your clients are)

Howdy! Simple light source… I slaved for hours with input from the top photographers all over the world to get that right, okay maybe not!

Two strobes from either side, taken outside on the lawn, what little ambient there was left at the time was totally overpowered by the strobes.

As for Photoshop on this shot, nope, nada… I little colour, detail and exposure adjustment in Light Room and that was it :)
