Mitch and Candice decided to get married in Tokai forest here in Cape Town, this is the first time I’ve done a forest wedding and I have to say I’m really glad I did! Looking at the raw images I have some amazing fairytale photos of the the couple standing at the “altar” among others, stay tuned for the full wedding!

When everyone had gone up to the reception venue I had a chance to work with Candice and Mitch, I’d had this idea for a photo that I’d been wanting to do but needed to wait for the right time, there were white benches in the forest and the light was fantastic… it was the right time

When I pulled the shot up on my screen the image felt like it needed to have that  alternative wedding photography kind of look so I swished my pen (I have a Wacom tablet – love that thing!!), added texture messed with effects until it felt complete.

I do love what I do!!
