When I worked with Kobus and Lindie for their wedding photos, Lindie had mentioned she wanted magazine quality wedding pictures.
Lindie and Kobus had chosen an aftershoot to do their main wedding photos so getting fashion styled images was not a problem at all… I had time and we did not have to worry about guests because the reception had happened a few weeks before 
It’s not common but I am definitely getting more requests to move the “couple-photoshoot” around a bit, either to aftershoots or before the actual ceremony so the newly weds can get to their guests without delay.

That’s a cool shot. Oh yeah it’s a good idea to get the couple shoots before or after.
During Indian wedding it’s so much to be done and the photographers are not at all in a mood to give the couple a breath of relief.
