Getting ready at weddings
The excitement on the wedding day!
Taking pictures while getting ready is a must. As a wedding photographer I've always loved that part. With the ladies, it's usually very relaxed when I first arrive, but as the time gets closer, it can be a frenzy. I've seen enough brides and bridesmaids getting ready to appreciate how much effort goes into it. Men have no idea how much effort goes into it!
It's 15 minutes for the men. There's lots of joking around and excitement, so we end up getting really fun pictures. I'm often asked to help with the ties, I can do a wicked Windsor knot! If there's time, I'll suggest a few creative photos as well. The boys love that whiskey shot!
