Maybe one of the best wedding venues in the world?

Tintswalo Atlantic has to be right up with the best and most picturesque wedding venues in the world. I know I'm biased as a wedding photographer, but I've also travelled and shot all over. This amazing little place in Hout Bay remains one of my favourite places to work at. 

Intimate Cape Town Elopement

Sarah and Barry, both correctional officers living and working in the UK, eloped to Cape Town. They settled on Tintswalo as their venue. It was just the two of them, no guests. They'd been together for years and wanted to keep it uncomplicated.

Ocean ceremony on the Lamu deck

The ceremony on the Lamu deck facing the ocean was intimate and romantic. The waves crashed quietly in the background as they said their vows to each other. I captured their special moments on camera, making sure I was as inconspicuous as possible. After signing the register, I took the couple out to the rock beach and did some pictures with them as a married couple. The sunset was magnificent, but they always are at Tintswalo. 

Weddings out of Africa - Wedding planner

Barry and Sarah's initial contact to our wonderful part of the world was through Kirsty Marmarelis of Weddings Out Of Africa. I've shot weddings for Kirsty for years and, as wedding planners go, can not recommend her enough. Not only is she a wonderful person, but she's been doing it for years and has such a lovely personal touch. I've always loved that.
